They bitch, moan and complain about companies that don’t have women on the board. I’ve never heard any of them talk about how many women applied for board positions. Or how many had the industry experience and qualifications to be on the board of directors.
Sorry girl but your PHD in Women’s Studies does not qualify you to be on the board of directors for a fortune 500 company.
You, like all conservatives, completely missed the point. The inherent problem is not that women don’t occupy as many board positions as men; that can simply happen by chance. The problem is why that happens, and why women still make less than men, even as they make up a majority of students in higher education.
Also, the fact that less women may have applied for the positions, or the men were more qualified, are both problems in-and-of themselves. So either way the feminists’ arguments are valid.
